Jim,
Use two meters on the machine at once to find that problem--measure the "line voltage" at the transformer and the DC voltage--If the AC is dropping, you have a problem in the wall plug/line cord connections, which I have seen in those before--and that's also a fire hazzard. Follow that through the transformer and check the "25 vac", that goes to the DC supply. If the 25vac is dropping you may have rebuilt the DC supply incorrectly, or, have a bad component in there. BTW, if there is not a two amp fuse located in the 25vac line, add one. If only the DC supply is dropping, either the supply is bad or something is drawing too much current. Ron Rich

Subject: [Jukebox-list] AMI I200
Hi everyone - I took my AMI I200 to a company picnic this past Saturday and
it was a blast, although YMCA got played a little too much for my liking.
The juke played non-stop for four hours and didn't miss a beat. I got lots
of positive feedback and just a few silly questions like "is that thing
playing CD's"? One person wanted to know if I had updated the sound system
because it sounded too good for 1958. I chuckled to myself over the person
having problems selecting H13 - he pressed the H and then tried to press the
1 and 3 buttons at the same time. But I did get one observant person ask why
the record basket slows if you make a selection while it is scanning. I've
seen it come to a complete stop sometimes until it finishes selecting. I
assume the power supply is undersized (I rebuilt it), but then thought I
might ask the list to see if this is so. Anyone else notice this with their
machine? Thanks,
Jim
