Trying to fix a Seeburg LS-325 for a guy, It has the "scans twice but
does not  select any record" problem. He has ordered the manual for it.
If I manually trip the trip lever on the mech, it will pull a record and
play it fine. I checked all fuses in the dcc1 control center and the
contact block. If I jumper the  terminal on the dcc1 to ground it will
also trip and play.  Doing the battery test it will not stop and select
any selections . Which seems to mean that it is a read out/ trip
problem.  The trip control relay on the dcc1 contacts have been checked
and cleaned. The coil itself for the trip control relay reads @ 500
ohms. I cant recall what the resistance should be but it seems a bit
high to me. It is one of those "ice-cube" type relays with a transparent
cover . It has some specs printed on it , but doesnt make any sense to
me. It is a 24 vdc relay , and has  "5 amp res." stamped on it.  Whats
that?   Anyone have a 325 with this type of problem?  Ive cleaned
contacts on the tormat and the contact block also.  Thanks, Jim
