[Jukebox-list] R/O 1426 TT motor

Hi All,
  Has anyone had the "opportunity" to work on  1426 Rock Ola non (speed) adjustable, turn table motor?
  I ran into one today that had frozen up. It also has been "worked on" (or should I say "worked upon") previously. 
  I have it running, but I have a few  questions--
  1. How should the "thrust screw" be adjusted?
  2. Is there any trick to re-installing the laminated field, easily, to provide proper clearance?
  3. Were lockwashers used on the four screws that hold the field on? (I wound up with two very tight and I needed to leave two just "hand tight" in order to center the armature).
