Still an LS-325? Dont quite understand that question. It was yesterday
when I read " Model No LS-325 " on the back metal ID plate. Sure its a
DCC1? Yes , I have the item here with me in my work room and it still
says "type dcc1" on it. Not quite sure what you mean by what PCB is
installed in the power supply? The Battery test I did step by step from
the troubleshooting website by Tony Miller. Symptom 3: scans twice,
plays nothing. Negative terminal of a C battery to center pin of the RCA
plug , pos. side of battery to ground. Doing this had no effect,
indicating a read out or trip problem. The mechanism will trip when I
jumper the trip terminal on the dcc1 to ground. This is basically where
I left off and must pick up from here. I must correct something though
I said yesterday, I have not checked the detent switch yet. My mistake,
I checked the roller actuator switch on the front of the mech casting
but not the detent switch yet. I always like to use an analog meter.
The trip contact relay coil on the dcc1 reads @ 600 ohms , is this
correct? Any likely suspects in the LS-325 model that fail often?
thanks, Jim
