I replace my horrible gold original with a white from an LPC 480 way back 
about 18 years ago.  For flair, there are 3 white metal panels that re 
supposed to reflect light upwards through the letters and numbers.  I 
removed them, sprayed them red, so now my LPC-1 has a white keyboard and red 
rectangles.  Looks nice and nobody would know it's not original.

The blue?  Weird.  Perhaps it's a protective film that's supposed to be 
removed?  You know, the same kind that comes on new appliances.
