Jim,
  That board probably needs work--did you check the test point voltages?
  As for the selection now playing lamps, that's normal, as it will not switch between the 1 and 2 sides until the mech stops to pick up the opposite side--the switch is controlled by the movement of the pick-up assembly.

selection numbers on the display. They never advanced into the 2xx
series of selections , Just repeated the 1xx series 2 times. Shouldnt
something switch it to the 2xx series at some point in time of the scan
