Hi James,
Try a 0.01uF at 600vdc onto the grid pin.

Subject: [Jukebox-list] AMI R145 Amp Modification
I'm going to try something new for me.
I'm restoring an AMI G120 and I intend to modify the amp for a line
level input in addition to the normal signal path. Not knowing where to
inject the Line Level Signal, I consulted with a knowledgeable friend.
He recommended I first try a point between the Plate of V1(pin 6) and
the Grid of V2 (pin 2).
I think I will also need a two pole switch - one side to deenergize the
muting relay and the other side to switch between the new / normal
signal path.
I envision a 1/8" female input jack and the two pole switch mounted on
the Control Box along with the Volume Control, Reject and Power
switches. If this works, you could flip the switch, plug in your mp3
player and play music through the jukebox.
I posted an image of the R-145 schematic with a note designating where I
hope to inject the line level signal. After webshots opens, click on
the schematic, a new page will open, click the schematic again then look
to the right and click "full size".

Any recommendations on what value cap to try at the signal injection
point? (non-polarized I would guess)
All comments are welcome.
Thanks,
JP
