Hi.
My original gold one had a significant amount of blackening, from sugared
drink and beer spills, I'm sure. The white one was big improvement, but I
agree; in good condition, the gold is the best.
It's at my sister's house in Ohio now. It used to look great to me, but as
I've worked on and owned more jukes, and LPCs, I realize now what a junker
it is. Before i got it, it sat in a leaky building for a decade.
Still, to this day, you can flip it on and it works fine, God bless it.
Maybe when I'm home in August I'll give the mech a really good cleaning. I
would have been afraid to do it back then. Wouldn't think twice about it
now.

Kyle,
Are you saying that the original gold/brown panel was "horrible", or, are
you
saying the one you had was destroyed ? I liked the original one much better,
then any "replacement", on an LPC cabinet--
Anyway, the three metal pannels do reflect the light, but their main
purpose
in life is to allow the keyboard to be removed without having all the
plastic
buttons fall out. Ron Rich
