The only thing 'special' about power supplies is the current capacity 
and the pinout of the power out plug. So, Nathan, if you use an 
adapter make CURE you have the power hooked up correctly and the 
wall-wart has enough current to drive the device. The plug to the 
device is critical though - polarity really matters!
