Yeah we have a local craigslist for the Eastern Shore of Maryland and a
Delaware craigslist as well as a local buy and sell book that is very popular
called the Guide. Most of what shows up is 70s boxes and overpriced.I search the
Philly,Baltimore and Washington DC craigslist and most is overpriced but
occasionally a deal comes up.There is a local guy in delaware selling refurbished 80s
Rowes for $1200 with a guarantee. He advertises in the Guide every week. I
still don't think he moves very many 80s Rowes at those prices.I still regret
not going to the auction in Dover Delaware and bidding on the Wurlitzer 2200
there a few months ago. 50s and older boxes seem to be rare as hen's teeth in
this area.I think it's because we're close enough to the big cities like the ones
I listed that the dealers have searched out the area and bought them up
before I got into jukeboxes. Also the same reason why our resort beaches are very
popular. They are only a 2 and 1/2 to 4 hour drive to either of the 3 cities.
Case in point my Seeburg R came from Lloyd's Coinop warehouse and he told me it
came from a warehouse in Federalsburg on the Maryland Eastern Shore. But the
Wurlitzer auction was before I bought my last new shed and I was out of room.
