[Jukebox-list] Can Seeburg chrome title holders be successfully rechromed?

I was told once by a guy doing some chrome for me that he couldn't rechrome 
the C titleholders.He wasn't one of the big 2 so I was wondering. I did get a 
set that doesn't need rechroming from ebay for my C. Anyway I was bidding on 
another nice set and they went much higher than the other set. I was wondering 
if the reason is because they can't be rechromed or because some  guy just 
wanted them real bad.
The ones from the B are pretty badly pitted.I have others I won off ebay 
before for the cheaper prices and they were all pitted. Only the last set I bought 
weren't.The ones today just ended for $99.Victory Glass asks $35 a piece. So 
can Courtesy or Speed and Sport rechrome these or is there something special 
that makes then unrechromable? I guess the price would be about the same as the 
auction for rechroming them though? Everybody says warm weather months are a 
poor time to sell on ebay and a good time to buy. I don't see a sudden price 
drop on hard to find jukebox parts when the weather gets nice. They seem to run 
about the same. Sometimes higher.
