The bass horn is driven by a pair of pretty conventional speakers. If
you'd be considering replacing them with something else, you might
consult the mailing list first, as the horn design might be highly
tailored to these drivers, and substitution with something different
may affect the sound more than conventional designs.
(I have a F-120, not a G-200. Single driver for the bass horn, which
is completely below the mechanism instead of through the cabinet. But
otherwise similar.)

The power of these jukes is probably more due to the horns than the
fact that it's a tube amp. The horns couple the sound waves of the
drivers to the air more efficiently, or so I've been told / read.

Just so you know, that's unique to the G-200, not present in the
versions with fewer selections. As I understand it, the selection
buttons on the machine itself send wallbox like pulses to the stepper.
The downside is the stepper, etc. is much more complicated than the
other selection systems, so as far as repair goes, this is not nearly
as easy to work on as the similar 120 & 80 selection AMIs.
