Sorry about that, Jay. I should have pointed that out. The speaker is mounted in an actual speaker enclosure that I built for using the speakers out of the car. The box is about a 8 x 8 x 8 (give or take)since the speaker is a 6 inch - woofer with a 2 inch tweeter mounted in the center. It's made from 1/2 plywood and is stuffed with insulation. I cut a 2 hole in the lower corner of the front panel to allow some air to move since the cone does have some travel room. I realize that I'm not getting as much bass as I would if the speaker was on the back deck of a 1990 Buick Century, but nevertheless, it sounds pretty darn good when hooked up to a car stereo...or any other type of amp output.

As far as the reason WHY I chose that speaker to use on my C.... it was the only thing I had available and I didn't want to go out and buy a full range speaker just to experiment with putting an external on the C. As it turned out, it didn't sound bad, and it allowed us to listen to the C in the basement without having to crank the volume on the jukebox up to the "ear popping" stage in order to hear it upstairs.
