Just a wild guess here, as I do not have a schematic, but the use of the word "protectors" gives me the idea that they may not be "just fuses". They may function to remove some of the "surge" from the circuit, thus "protecting" a coil or something of that nature?? If so, a fuse may not be the proper replacement.

  Hi,

I am cleaning the pieces of my 750 while we wait for
the plating etc. I am now at the Electrical Selector
Terminal Box. It is the item with the transformer for
supplying power to the selection system and has the 24
terminals for the jukebox selector coils as well as
wallboxes if used.

There are 3 circuit breakers (Wurlitzer called them
"Protectors" in the 40's) and I don't really want to
use them. I would rather mount 3 fuse holders to the
bottom of the terminal box or somewhere to replace
them. I don't particularly like the looks of the old
circuit breakers but I also hate to drill holes in the
terminal box for the fuse holders. Has anyone
suggestions? I also wondered if anyone knew the
current rating of these circuit breakers, if not I
will use the lowest value fuse possible for each.

I really appreciate reading this list and most of all
everyone's advice!
