Ron, I guess it's a ladder switch, there are three banks of buttons. I took a meter and checked the contacts between #1 and #2 "at rest" and there's continuity at all points except at bottom points where pushing the button send signal to pinbank?.. Any other ideas?

Of course it happens on all four selections that match the #2 selection on the four sided selection drum. All other push button keys work and make selections, BUT, only #1 pushbutton works AND removes a credit in the accumulator. All higher buttons including the non-working #2 button fail to remove a credit from the accumulator. I figured I might have a problem with the #2 pushbutton switch. So, with much consternation and frustration, I figured out how to remove the push button switch bank (not an easy task). I examined the #2 button and switch, but I don't see anything out of place. The #2 and all other buttons properly operate the sliders and return to there proper position.
