[Jukebox-list] RE: Wurlitzer 750-E

Ron and Jens,

Thanks for the ideas. I really like the junction box
idea. I really would rather use panel mount fuse
holders and I can afford to have an extra junction box
on hand if someone ever wanted to go back 100%
original. Maybe I will drill the junction box on the
narrow side that does not show. I will start with 2
Amp fuse, I have a bunch of those anyway.

I am pretty bad at circuits and stuff. I don't want
to endanger a coil or anything. The 750/780
electrical selector systems always seem to be
intimidating to me (I just muddle my way through).
The "protectors" have two wires, one in and one out to
make the complete circuit. I can see a small coil
inside the protector, I suppose it would be a heater
coil to trip the "protector" in the event of an
overload. I will study the schematic (like I would
know what to look for). I better proceed with caution.
I hope to plug in all the pieces in when I get them
cleaned up and make sure it all functions before I
assemble it to the mechanism.

Thanks everyone!
