Careful - You're mixing you color systems. The *additive*
primaries are red, blue and green. These are colors of light
that combine to produce the other colors (take a look at a
computer or TV screen with a magnifying glass and you'll see
these three colors. With additive color, red and green do
indeed combine to make yellow. Yellow, cyan and magenta are
the *subtractive* primary colors. Printed one over the other,
as with lithography or photography, they mask certain
colors to produce a desired color. In this case, yellow over
cyan makes green. Since we're talking about the effect of
light being cast on a surface, red, blue and green would be
the primaries to use.
