[Jukebox-list] Another nice Jukebox?

The Wurli mechs, like the later Rockola mechs (I hate those things) were a
study in grandiose optimism. If everything was just perfect, it worked. I
found that the trick is not to keep it running, but to get it running right,
then do not move it. Ever.
I refurbed one of these for my Dad, to play his 78's. He has several 45
jukes, and a Seeburg CD juke. Anyway, every time we move the damn thing, it
usually takes three adjustment visits to get it working smoothly again.
After that it usually performs flawlessly for months. Mind you it probably
gets no more than a dozen plays a week.
All in all, a gorgeous work of art, and a truly rare mechanism. NOT worth
$2500 non-working tho!
Cheers,
Lanway
