Don,
I think that that is too general a question to answer-- On anything mechanical, the person working on it must know WHAT is supposed to move, WHEN. If you are working on something and you don't know this, you are in trouble, as it makes it somewhat near impossible to determine what is "stuck", especially on a more complicated device. Ron Rich

Specifically when the selection mech motor shaft "STOPS" when you hand turn it.... it'll turn backwards a bit (I didn't go TOO far backward) and then stop at the same spot as you turn it forwards again. Why?
Any ideas?
