Josh,
Almost any "square" rectifier package will replace it, and is an easy mount. I like to add a 1 amp fuse in the AC side.
A question for you--How are you testing the rectifiers?
I don't know how to determine that they are " starting to test bad".
A 1N4002 can be used for the "smoothing rectifier" with no problem--once again, I add a 1 amp fuse, on the Mech. to prevent taking out the transformer, should the coil short.

Hello Everyone,
I just finished a fresh rebuild on the TSU7 receiver unit for my
Seeburg DS160. My problem is that the rectifier in the unit is all
but dead. I looked through the archives, but couldn't find any
direct answer on replacing the selenium rectifier in this unit. I
also can't find any values for it in my manual, and I didn't want to
chance it with a silicon bridge swap. If anyone has changed these
out before, please let me know what you used, and any modifications
that were necessary to make it work. The smoothing rectifier on my
mechanism is also starting to test bad, so if anyone has replacement
suggestions for it, they would be welcome as well. Thanks in advance.
