All pick-up assemblies are interchangeable--the mono and the first stereo will fit into the same cradle assemb, however the counter weights are different--the last type tone arm does not interchange with the earlier types. Ron Rich

Look at the part # on the mech--check it with the Service Manual

The arm is the same light purple and it does play 33s... hopefully it was just 
the tone arm assembly that was replaced, not the entire mech.There is a TSA4 
amp in there now, but a TSA5 was tried and it sounds identical.
