Just tried out another twenty or so selections... everything A-OK, but one-fourth of the time A TASTE OF HONEY by Lenny Welch (don't laugh... I got it for the A side, SINCE I FELL FOR YOU) slips into 33 mode, the same culprit as before. Just this one record. It's a Columbia re-issue. I'm answering my own question here, but it's the record, right?

Hasn't happened again since, even with the same record, so I'm thinking (hoping) that one particular record was sitting askew in the magazine rack that one particular time. Or is there something else I need to be watching out for, something that could use adjusting/lubing?
