That's so sad to hear.  What a beautiful machine.
You have to wonder if, with some tweeking, it couldn't be improved. Perhaps 
custom made record slots with tapered edges... or whatever their problem is.

We know they busted records, but when during the cycle did everything go 
wrong?

Looks like 24 selections, but I don't know if it's both sides of 12 records, 
or one side of 24.

Kyle, Jeremy, and All,
  "Project" AIN'T the word for them there "record breaking" things.  From 
what the "old timers" have told me, they will break all the records ( don't 
remember--20-30 selections--?? how many records??). I've seen a 
couple--neither of which worked.  Now, the Aireon "Canned Ham" --that's a 
much improved mechanism----and as far as I'm concerned, a "classic". Too bad 
that they could not overcome the bad rep of the earlier models.  Ron Rich
