[Jukebox-list] Jukebox records shortage

I placed an order with oldies.com for 80 records.
I picked each record and ordered normal and expected to
receive 80 records. I received 56. 

The invoice showed that 24 of the 80 ordered
are on backorder. 

I don't really think they are overwhelmed with orders
for 45's these days, or are they???

I wonder if they are making less 45's these days ???

I also wonder if the jukebox records sellers have
bought up many of the titles to sell in there box sets.
That's OK with me because I buy box sets from them as well.

I would like to think that oldies.com is selling so many 45's that they can't keep up
with the demand. That would be great knowing that the IPOD still has
competition from a 50 year old format.
