[Jukebox-list] OT-Gas boycott ( was gas price)

True and true.
A one day protest don't do much.

Today's noon news is that regular gas on Saltspring Island is U$5.15 per US 
gallon. Saltspring Island is in the Gulf of Georgia west of Vancouver BC. 
and they "claim" it is due to the cost of transport. But why then is is 
cheaper in Yellowknife, way up north? Someone is not giving us straight 
goods.

A continent wide boycott of one, targeted company might be more effective in 
getting the message across that we don't mind paying a price for our 
gas..... but don't gang up on us to goug (sp) us or we'll pick one then 
another of you and give you a 6 month boycott.

So..... who's gonna pick the first one.?  Will it come to that?
