10 and 12 inch78 rpm singles, were made when the "A" was produced (1948/9), and the "A" had an automatic intermix to take care of the record size--any "A" playing at 33 rpm has been "converted" from 78 to 33rpm ( and should be able to handle either size record). Ron Rich
