[Jukebox-list] AMI PUSHBUTTON QUESTION

Dan, the pushbutton switches are fed with a credit 'hot' to the first
button in what is called a 'daisy chain' circuit that continues trough all
pushbutton switches. This is a normally closed circuit. If one of these
switches lose continuity, all switches down the chain will not work. This
path may be different on various jukes. All jukes use this circuit as an
anti-cheat feature to prevent anyone from pushing two switches at one time
to get two selections for one coin. Each bank is connected to another one
with a jumper wire. The trouble may be here or either someone has pushed a
button back in that has jumped out. If this has been done without backing at
the rear of the shaft, the normally closed may be distorted and lose
continuity. Wes
