So glad you are getting to enjoy your 2410,Jackie.You made me get off my duff
to start working on the 2510.It works great mechanically but I need to
rebuild the amp so I can hear it and need to work on the keyboard. Some of the keys
don't come back up on their own after the latch solenoid releases them.
I wonder if someone has installed the wrong spring on your arm and it is too
weak or if it got water on it and it's rusted therefore making it weak.Seems
weird you have to keep shortening it.I have an extra mechanism from a Wurlitzer
2150 I parted out because it was missing too many parts to be worth my while
fixing it up.
I already got the needle brush wire off for my 2510. I broke the one on my
2510.
That was my stinker buy that I thought was a bargain. Might have been worth
it for parts if I hadn't broke the dome glass. So then I bought my 2nd 2150 that
was in real nice shape except the dome glass was missing...lol.But I found a
nice used glass.
I could look and see if it has a good spring tomorrow if you don't find
one. It's in the back room of the tv shop.
