[Jukebox-list] RE: Rock-Ola 437 Ultra - a Few Issues

Regarding the operation of the Rock-Ola Ultra 437 city animation.

 

The plastic that contains the animation sits on the curved black metal holder (15) behind the front glass (3) and the clear Perspex retainer (20).  Tape the ends of the animation to the Perspex so that it will follow the curve of the retainer.

 

Then on the rollers goes the loop of moiré pattern (25) so that when the motor turns the moiré rollers, the city lights and stars twinkle and the skyscraper lights turn on and off.

 

It's important that the animation stretches to follow the Perspex curve and the animation does not touch the moiré as any grit on the moiré will scratch the animation. Keep the rollers and moiré tight by using tight springs.
