Isn't it actually Zavaro? He used to sell a substitute for the 2050 tube.
I doubt the guys selling his stuff on ebay will have much luck, not knowing
what they have, mislabeled auctions, big price tags.....
I lost one of my best friends in jukin 13 years ago, Jan Lodstrom. He was a
world class tube amplifier guy, and besides his valued friendship I haven't
found anyone even close to his speed, knowledge, workmanship. He wasn't 50
yet. Died of a sudden stroke. It came as a shock, and it really hurt.
Ever since that, I tell the guys I meet around my age (50) or say 40+, that
they must go see their doctor every other year or so. Blood pressure can
sneak it's way up and walking around with it untreated can have devastating
effects.
I suspect there are a number of us at risk on this list, so now I am telling
you, too - go see the doctor for a general check up, if you haven't done
that for a while! There may be some simple fine tuning to be done that can
make a big difference.
Goes for the gals, too, but their problem is more often the risk of cancer.
For the guys, blood pressure and prostate.
thx for your attention,
Jens
