I think I replied to your original posting on this:-
1) Does the reject button reject the record ok ? If so, then the problem is
the tone arm trip switch or its wiring.
If not,
2) Check firstly that the pins you have selected ARE being reset as soon as
the stylus hits the record.
Let us know your answers and we can move on from here ?

Subject: [Jukebox-list] Re: AMI Continental problem
Hi folks looks like I spoke too soon. I recently wrote
saying I was having problems with B sides being
hesitant to reject on my Ami continental. This was
happening intermitently and only ocassionaly. I freed
up all the pins and thought this had done the trick,
but I now notice that the A sides are starting to do
the same. Any further suggestions as to where to look.
I can get the record to eject eventually by lifting
the tone arm up and passing it over over the record
cut out grooves several times, but noticed a funny
thing...there is no sound when I set the needle back
down at the start of the record. The sound goes back
to normal when the record rejects and goes onto the
next selection.
Thanks
Gary
