fit? Seems that's a little risky and I would have a good chance to crack
the plastic?
I seem to recall reading about Dr. Know-it-all's travails when installing
repro trashcan plastics. I think he said there is considerable trial-fitting
and trimming (with a file? I don't know if that material can be "cut" with
snips or shears or anything...), along with plenty of hair-pulling. I don't
know if he was working with the ones that install from the inside, or the
ones that install from the outside (there are two different mounting schemes,
depending on the year and whether the cabinet is wood or metal). Take your
time, and good luck!
