Hi Jen,
You are correct, the Pilasters that install inside the cabinet MUST be 
easier and there is more room for "fudging" the fit.  I can't imagine having 
them installed outside and working with the plastics, they are not very 
forgiving, LOL  I did drill the holes for the casting bolt (thanks for the 
correct term) and it was fun!
