It was attributed to P.T. Barnum, but many think it's
apocryphal.  Still, it rings true.  When I was a little
kid I thought that robot was totally cool.  But the 
coolness factor of having one is greatly diluted if anybody
with more money than sense can whip out their check
book and own one too.  "Oh, you have a Lost in Space
robot too?  The Johnsons picked one up at a garage sale
last month, and my Aunt Matilda just ordered one for
her grandkids to play with."
