Glad you had a chance to sample Jackie's delicious cooking!  Wow, I'll bet 
that console is heavy!  Anyway, I have an AP2 and can tell you that the 
white-black wire is an "extra" (according to the service manual) and just 
hangs there.

If you get a chance. I wonder if you could please help out a fellow 
Seabooger and send me a pix of the metal mech cover and dimensions - I need 
to make one for my unit.

Thanks and just think - NOW we will have a REASON to buy all those Lawrence 
Welk albums at the Goodwill that we passed up before!
