[Jukebox-list] power supply Wurlitzer 542 amp

I've replaced the capacitors in the power supply for a 542 Wurlitzer stereo 
amp.  However, when I connect the 100mfd caps (C-1 and C-2A) the 8 ohm 10watt 
w.w. resistor between the two gets red hot to the point of smoking and I 
disconnect before catastrophe. What am I doing wrong?  Thanks to anyone for 
suggestions. I'll try anything.  allen
