I was wondering if that could be done.I might convert my 222 to play the
small hole 45s.I have a junker LPC480 mech that I can cannibalize for it but if I
decide to convert any more I'll know where to get one.No switch to contend
with on that one. I suppose on an older one like a C or an R you'd have to
disable the the clamp switch as it would reject if the clamp was farther out.Am I
correct in assuming this?

I've been afraid to try to dink the import full length version of "Light My
Fire" by the Doors. Now I know I don't have to.I hate how they cut such a great
song down from over 7 minutes to just over 2 minutes for the US 45.The
instrumental part is entirely cut out.It is a little lower in volume than a modern
45 to get all of it on the 45.Guess they had to really edit it to get the
volume level of the time. The trend at the time was really loud 45s.
