[Jukebox-list] tubes for Seeburg 147 Selector

Ron,
so what you are saying is the Selector does not need any of those tubes???
(without the wallbox)? So why are they there, did most units get hooked up
to wallboxes?  I also want to make sure I am speaking of the correct thing;
aux amp on left, amp in the middle and selection receiver on the right, all
three sitting on the bottom of the floor? (looking from the back of the
machine)

Also, I started tinkering with the machine early this morning and managed to
get the front panel off where the selection buttons are. I know most of you
could do this in 5 minutes but for me, 45min later, I had access to the
contacts on the selections buttons. None of them would work, turned out all
it needed were the contacts cleaned. (my favorite "woman" thing) After
doing all 20 contacts, I realized there were contacts on the BACK of each
selection also, so back in there and cleaned all the backs also. I am happy
to report, all 20 selections slide smoothly in and out, making good contact
on BOTH sides. It's the small things in life, I am having a great day!!
Jackie
