"Heart of Glass" did see USA vinyl release, and you're right, the plastic copies are always bad. I had a minty one that after 3 plays on my good equipment had audible noise. I think it was originally cut improperly.
Thought I was the only one to ever notice!
If you like vinyl titles from this era, search Canadian eBay. Pretty much all of their 45 records were vinyl.

Sorry. He's auctioned off records before but never do I remember him listing
200 batches at once.I have to limit myself on what I bid on and if they go too
high I won't bother to snipe them.I like getting records cheap myself. After
all these are used records he's selling. The vinyl ones will be ok but I'm kinda
worried about the styrene ones having done jukebox duty and getting played to
death.I'm watching the Blondie ones but I really don't know what playing
condition they are in.I've never found a playable used copy of "Rapture" and
"Heart of Glass" is usually noisy. I wonder if "Rapture"is available on a new
vinyl oldies 45.
Maybe Ron is better off buying the one record new. I think the label ELO one
used styrene.
