Hi, Ron -
Since we've been comparing manuals offlist, I can tell you
that mine shows that the AL-1 lid was the optional upgrade
one for the 146. It had a milk white dome and the barber
pole filter cylinder. The manual page for the 147 cabinet
refers the reader to the AL-1 page for lid specifics.
So it appears that the same AL-1 lid was offered as an
aftermarket option for the 146, and supplied stock on
the 147. The 148 also refers the reader to the AL-1 page.
