I really liked ELO before they got stale.  "Don't Bring Me Down"
is one I frequently use to blow the cobwebs out of the AMI G-200
at about 3/4 volume.  Funny about Johnny Horton.  My Dad was a
big fan of his, as was the uncle of my two best friends, so we
have grown up listening to his songs throughout our childhood.
I think I have "North to Alaska" and "Battle of New Orleans" in
the AMI right now.  I didn't know that Horton was a real racist
SOB early in his life and recorded some songs for the Klan.
Either he had an epiphany or a good talking to or something,
because I only learned of that past when my friend's son came
across them on the internet while making a compilation CD for
his great uncle.  I can't detect any racism in his later,
famous'er works.
