Ron,
First off, It's my pleasure to serve the American people! Second, thanks
for the speedy response! I do happen have an M100B manual. I think I
checked the 2 amp fuse in the WSR but will check it again just to be
sure. I hope that I haven't fried the Selection Coil, that would be a
bummer! I'm pretty sure the fuses are all of the correct value. I'm
hoping that it's in the CCU and its just a contact adjustment. Again,
thanks!
Brian

Hi Brian,
First--thanks for your service to our country !
It sounds as if you have blown (what should be) the two amp slo blow
fuse in the located in the "fuse clip" on the WSR. If that is the case,
and it is indeed a 2 amp slo blo fuse, the most likely suspect is the
"timing relay" contacts, located in the CCU. If the fuse was of a lower
value, just replace it. If the fuse was the correct value, replace it
ONCE, only, and watch what you play to see if, when, it blows. That
selection coil in the SA unit is shorted. If it was a larger size
fuse--you have shorted coils in the SA unit for sure.
Hopefully you have a book for the contact adjustments?
P.S. I have seen cases of where that "fuse clip" that holds the 2 A.
fuse being the problem. Make sure that it's holding the fuse
tightly--but use caution if you bend it, as it will "snap".

I am the proud owner of a Seeburg M100B I have cleaned and adjusted
the Mech, Selector (Pinbank) Assembly, Cancel Credit Unit and the
Electrical Selector. Everything was working fine up until about 7 months
ago when I started to experience the following problem. At first it was
intermittent but now it's a steady state. Here's a brief description of
the problem:
#1 - I can manually move the pins to the on or off position and the Mech
will scan and stop scanning.
#2 - I have checked all 100 pins and they all will make the Mech scan.
#3 - I can get credits, the "Select" light, lights up.
#4 - I can make selections on the Electrical Selector and the Electrical
Selector will cancel the credits.
Here's the problem: The pins on the Selector Assembly (Pinbank) will not
move to the on position using the Electrical Selector. What could be
causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Brian
