Hi Karl,
 
If you check out the Search Unit board you will see that the pin pusher coil
connections going to the wipers are fed from two very thin tracks(one on
each side of the board). These tracks have the wipers passing over them, in
some cases of wiper pressure being too high may cut the track. If this is
the case the board would have to be replaced, it could not be repaired.
