[Jukebox-list] NEWBIE QUESTIONS: Rock-ola 450 & 454

Hi,
First off, I am brand new to the jukebox scene, so I have very little knowledge on the subject and zero experience. I just purchased a couple of Jukeboxes, both Rock-olas (model 450 & 454). They both power up and seem to have some mechanical functions, but they don't pick up a record and play it.  I was hoping someone might have some suggestions as to what I can try to get them playing.. Here's a bit of info about them:

450: 
-Unit is complete with all parts.
-When flicking the Scan/Off/Operate switch the selector, carousel and turntable will spin around.
-When selecting a track via the buttons, nothing occurs.

454:
-Unit is complete with all parts.
-When flicking the Scan/Off/Operate switch only the turntable will spin around.
-When selecting a track via the buttons, the selector spins for a while, then seems to time out and nothing happens beyond this point.

If anyone has any insight as to what I might be able to try to get these machines up and running, please reply.
