Hi Stewart.

Manuals. Buy the manuals. check eBay.
Nice score on the 450 if it's in good shape.

450:
-Unit is complete with all parts.
-When flicking the Scan/Off/Operate switch the selector, carousel and
turntable
will spin around.
-When selecting a track via the buttons, nothing occurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not enough info. Do you have credit established? Do the buttons lock?
We need a play by play.
Check all fuses, press all of the circuit breakers.
Test continuity of the fuses with a meter, power off if you're testing any
of them still installed. Visual inspection can be deceiving. Replace with
correct fuses only! VERY important.

454:
-Unit is complete with all parts.
-When flicking the Scan/Off/Operate switch only the turntable will spin
around.
-When selecting a track via the buttons, the selector spins for a while,
then
seems to time out and nothing happens beyond this point.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Have you checked all the fuses and pressed all the circuit breaker buttons?
This is the place to start. Test continuity of the fuses with a meter,
power off if you're testing them still installed. Visual inspection can be
deceiving. Replace with correct fuses only! VERY important.
Start here, report back.

These Rock-Ola's aren't too complicated, so once you find the bugs, they
should be good to go.
They will need a lube job, too.
