Just a footnote to this post--
  You can use multiple "control heads" on all PRVC units up to,  but-- NOT---on any SHP type amp.

It's an either/or. When you plug in the remote volume control, the 
control inside the jukebox is disabled. It's a conventional 
continuously variable potentiometer. In a pinch, you could remove the 
internal control and mount it in a suitable enclosure, connect with 
shielded cable.

Unlike with the motorized units, you can only adjust the volume at a 
single location.
