[Jukebox-list] Ami Continental Tweeter distortion...

Hi everyone,

I've got an ami continetnal 1 which is in its very final stages of 
restoration, but I want to fix this problem before I put it back together. 
When playing most records at some stages the tweeter sounds very bright and 
shrill on some frequencies. At first I could not tell if it was cabinet 
vibrations or the tweeter, but I figured out it was definately coming from 
the tweeter.

The amp has been rebuilt, and the cartridge has been changed to a Pickering 
NP/AC (if thats important?). I was going to take it to a speaker re-coning 
place but thought it would be better if I asked here first, in case it could 
be something else. Anyone got any ideas??
