Jackie, are you still messing with that pile of junk? You should put it to
the curb where it belongs.
If you insist on continuing to waste your time with it, try checking the
switch on the big crank arms on the pinbank (Mine has a label next to it
marked Carriage Switch. (Ron suggested this, and he's right.) Simply push
the arm counter clockwise a bit and let it snap back.
I was able to recreate exactly your symptom on the ol' 3200. If this
doesn't immediately stop the symptom, try turning the adjusting screw out
1/4 turn until the symptom stops. (Shouldn't need to go much).
if it does fix the problem, you might still want to back the adjuster out
maybe 1/4 of a turn
Keep a note of how many turns you make in case this isn't the problem, but
it most likely is. These big 'micro' switches can change slightly with use.
It sounds to me like yours is adjusted too close to it's operating point.
This may also not allow for enough overtravel of the magazine and be forcing
the pins to stop it rater than the reversal of the motor.
Call me if you need help.
