I finally, regretfully took it to the dump.  When my mother
died I had to do *serious* triage on the things I had stored
in a building on her property.  I mean several pickup loads
full.  Some of the things, like this TV, a Tektronix scope
with a boxfull of plugins, a tube tester, some 3/4" VTRs
and other things, I laid carefully off to the side by the
attendants' shack, hoping that someone would take them.  I
waited a week between trips just so I woundn't know if they'd
been bulldozed into the pit.
