[Jukebox-list] Trashcan 148 Receiver Problem Solved

A week or so ago, I had posted a question as to what might be  causing the 
6X5GT tube to glow like a cherry after re-capping the unit.  
 
Figured it out myself, since only one response received.  The  old schematics 
did not indicate the polarity of electrolytic capacitors, and I  had 
erroneously installed C9 backwards which must have acted as a short to the  tube.  
 
Anyway, after changing this, and putting in a nice motor run  capacitor in 
place of the 5mfd, my wallbox performs like a champ with ALL  selections coming 
in at the right spot.
 
Thought maybe this would save anyone else re-capping a problem  later.  Can't 
believe how fantastic the receiver and wallbox work  together.  Hopefully, 
I'll get a wireless wall box eventually and be able  to check that also.  My 
receiver is the M variety, so it should accept  those.
